After more than 31 years of service to the City of Poughkeepsie and 4 years as chief of the fire department Chief Joe Franco is retiring. His last day will be on Friday July 24th. Join us as we will send him off with a walkout ceremony and reception afterwards.

Marine 2 operating in the thick of it yesterday. M2 was called out for an overturned sailboat. No injuries reported.

2 of our members have taken the trip to pay their respects to fallen Boston Rescue 2 FF. Kilduff.
City firemen have been testing hydrants across the city over the last month. FF.Flynn and FF.Ineson were detailed to test several and found this one. The issues have been addressed and the hydrant is back in service.
Engine 2 G3 delivered a healthy baby girl earlier this week. Both mom and baby are healthy and doing great.
Poughkeepsie Arlington and LaGrange Spec Ops Collapse team has been working a house fire with collapse in Ulster County since earlier today. Check back for updates.
