Protect yourself from jewelry scams. Older victims are often targeted by thieves who will try to use a distraction in order to swap the victim’s real jewelry with fake jewelry. Keep your jewelry hidden in public and report suspicious people to the police.

Keeping our community safe is our favorite summertime tradition!

🚨 Law enforcement will NEVER call or text demanding money, gift cards, or crypto to avoid arrest. Scammers pretend to be police officers to scare you into paying.

If you get a threatening call, hang up immediately! It is a scam!
