Ever wonder who donates fresh produce to WACCS? 🥕🌱

is one of our major donors of fresh, seasonal produce! Whether it’s crisp radishes in the spring or pumpkins in the fall, Reno Food Systems seeks to ensure access to fresh, healthy and locally grown food for everyone.

Earlier this April, they graciously welcomed us for a tour of their farm, where we got a sneak peek at all the delicious produce to come. It was inspiring to see firsthand the care and dedication that goes into growing food for our community.

As part of our ongoing renovations at the Women’s and Children’s Center of the Sierra, we’re clearing out furniture and office items that still have plenty of life left in them. Rather than send them to the landfill, we’d love to see them put to good use in a home, office, classroom, or nonprofit.

Team MITS Reno worked HARD this morning at GO RED DAY transforming Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra ♥️ Demolition, clearing out, cleaning up, lots of dust, sweat and love! We are very grateful to be a small part of supporting this amazing local community resource. Huge shoutout to for being such hardworking, genuinely kind humans.
