That's a wrap on the Arlington Bridges Project! πŸ‘

Thank YOU, the community, for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout construction. RTC and our partners are proud to deliver two beautiful new bridges that will serve residents and visitors for generations to come.

For fun, here are some numbers behind the construction:
πŸ”¨ 16,558,000 pounds of concrete placed
πŸ›£οΈ 3,162,000 pounds of asphalt paved
πŸ”© 520,000 pounds of reinforcing steel (rebar) installed. If laid end to end, the rebar would stretch approximately 60 miles β€” enough to go around the McCarran loop more than 2.5 times!
πŸͺ¨ 1,300 boulders moved and placed in the Truckee River
πŸ’§ More than 700,000 gallons of water held in aquadams to safely divert the Truckee River during construction
🐟 More than 1,600 fish safely relocated
πŸ‘· 19 subcontractors helped bring the project to life
🌳 32 new trees and 295 shrubs and plants added to enhance the project area
