Join us in the Meeting Room at George Memorial Library in Richmond on Wednesday, June 24, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm for Gladiator Games for students in grades 4-8! Participants will enjoy an afternoon of fun challenges and friendly competitions! Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Materials for this program are provided by the Friends of the George Memorial Library.

Board games are a great way to unwind, meet new friends, and challenge your mind. We play a variety of games from competitive to cooperative, strategic to classics, and everything in between! All skill levels are welcome (age 14+).
This month’s featured game is Monopoly: World of Warcraft Collector's Edition

The theme for this week's Story Time is Beach and Swimming! Family Story Time will be Wednesday and Thursday, June 24 & 25, 10:15 - 10:45 am. Pajama Night Story Time will be Thursday, June 25, 6:00 - 6:30 pm. These activities are for families with children of all ages. We hope to see you at George Memorial Library in Richmond!

Families with school-age children are invited to join us on Tuesday, June 23, at 2:00 and 3:00 pm for a performance of "The Ballerina with Webbed Feet", a children’s theater performance based on the children’s book of the same title by Pam Van Scoyoc. This performance is presented by Books Alive! which develops and performs musical-theater performances based on beloved children’s books that inspire literacy and promote theatrical creativity. Space is limited. Free tickets will be available 30 minutes before the program. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the George Memorial Library.

Join us for Mother Goose Time on Tuesday, June 23, 10:15 - 11:00 am. This weekly 45-minute, multi-sensory activity -- for pre-walking infants from 1 month to 12 months of age -- is designed to encourage early educational development. Attendance is limited; we can only accommodate 15 infants with their caregivers. We hope to see you at George Memorial Library in Richmond!

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will be CLOSED Friday, June 19, for Juneteenth. All locations will be OPEN on Saturday, June 20. George Memorial Library (Richmond) and the Sienna Branch will be CLOSED on Sunday, June 21. Regular hours will resume at all locations on Monday, June 22.
The online library is always open at www.fortbendlibraries.gov for downloading ebooks & e-audiobooks, using the research databases, viewing e-magazines, or streaming movies. Our regular hours will resume on Monday, June 22.
