It's so quiet in Rivera and Orbach this week, you can practically hear the pages turn! Summer Sessions start next week, and we can't wait to have our summer students in the libraries filling these empty chairs.

Heads up, Highlanders! The UCR Library will be closed on Friday, June 19 for Juneteenth.

Thank you to everyone who powered through finals with us during our 24-hour Orbach operation! We officially close at 7 p.m. tonight (Fri., June 12). Our summer schedule start this Saturday with the following hours until fall:

🔵Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
🔵Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
🔵Saturday: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
🔴Sunday: CLOSED

It's your last night to study 24 hours in Orbach for finals, Highlanders! We will close at 7 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, June 12). For all the Highlanders that still have finals, good luck!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Finals Week Stress Relief events this week! We loved seeing your creativity at our art event free for all (check out some of the art created) and hope you enjoyed Monday's esquites giveaway.

The stress relief isn't over yet! Keep an eye out for surprise snack giveaways in both libraries over the next two days. We won't tell you exactly when, so you'll just have to stumble upon them!

We are on our summer schedule this weekend until Saturday, September 19! For all of our summer session Highlanders, we will be closed on Sundays and closing earlier Monday - Thursday. Our regular hours will resume in the fall. Check out our summer hours below:

Starting next week on Monday, June 15, construction will begin to convert those open-door rooms across from the women’s restrooms in Orbach into fully reservable group study rooms (complete with actual doors!).

Work will take place during regular business hours for the next 6 - 8 weeks. For those sticking around this summer, it may be a little noisier than usual. Thank you for your patience with the noise as we upgrade your study spaces!
