We're proud to help inspire the next generation of firefighters, public servants, and community leaders through this unique program.
A special thank you to the Riverside City Firefighters Association Local 1067 for helping make this experience possible for Riverside youth.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the program managers; Captain Josh Fudge, Captain Dave Revollo and Fire Pub Ed. Coord. Gina Perez, the program leads Firefighter Eric LeBlanc and Engineer Cesar Rodriguez, and Fire Explorer Post #101, whose members served as amazing mentors throughout the week. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment helped make this camp a memorable and rewarding experience for every participant.

🛟 Don't Assume Someone Else Is Watching, Assign a Water Watcher! 👀🌊🏖️
As the weather heats up, make safety your top priority anytime kids are around water. Whether kids are swimming in a backyard pool, at the beach, or anywhere around water, always assign a dedicated Water Watcher. Drowning can happen quickly and quietly.
Remember the ABCs of Water Safety:
🔹 A – Adult Supervision: Keep eyes on children at all times in and around water.
🔹 B – Barriers: Secure pools with proper fencing, gates, and blocked access points.
🔹 C – Classes: Enroll children in swim lessons to build water safety skills.
