Our team was proud to join MilVet, the Lake Elsinore Storm, and community volunteers at Storm Stadium to help assemble military care packages for our deployed service members.
Events like this are a meaningful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference to those serving far from home. From packing essential items to including messages of support, each care package serves as a tangible connection to the communities and families back home who appreciate their sacrifice.
Thank you to MilVet, Thunder Cares, the Lake Elsinore Storm organization, players, staff, and all of the volunteers who came together to support our military men and women. Riverside County is home to a strong and proud military community, and it is always inspiring to see residents step up to give back to those who serve our nation.

This morning, I was honored to join community leaders, partners, and local families for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the new Lakeland Village Childcare Center.
This project represents an important investment in our community's future. By expanding access to quality early childhood education and childcare opportunities, we are helping support working families while giving our youngest residents a strong foundation for lifelong success.
The new center is part of the ongoing transformation in Lakeland Village and reflects what can be accomplished when local, county, and community partners work together toward a shared vision. I am especially grateful to First 5 Riverside County and the County of Riverside Facilities Management Department for their dedication in bringing this project to life.
I look forward to seeing the positive impact this facility will have on Lakeland Village families for generations to come.
