Students recently visited Howrigan Farm for a hands-on learning experience filled with curiosity, excitement, and discovery.

From wide eyes to big smiles, students explored the farm, asked thoughtful questions, and experienced firsthand where food comes from and how a working farm operates. It was a day full of joy, learning, and connection to the land and community.

A special thank you to Bet and the entire Howrigan Farm family for welcoming our students and sharing your time and knowledge.

Today is the last day of school for many of our Maple Run students!

As another school year comes to a close, we want to thank our students, staff, families, and community members for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and achievement.

Congratulations on all you've accomplished this year. We hope everyone enjoys a safe, fun, and well-deserved summer break filled with family, friends, adventure, and plenty of time to recharge.

Our community has always stepped up when help is needed.

On Friday, July 24th, the Collins Perley Sports and Fitness Center will host the Heart & Hustle Blood Drive in partnership with the American Red Cross and community sponsors Ben & Jerry's, Peoples Trust Company, and Stewart's Shops.

Every blood donation has the potential to help patients receiving emergency care, cancer treatments, surgeries, and other lifesaving medical care.

If you're able to donate, we hope you'll join us.

PHOTOS 70+: ‘It’s the time’ for BFA-St. Albans Class of 2026 ST. ALBANS – When social studies teacher Caitlin Kurmin graduated roughly 10 years ago, she didn’t expect she’d be teaching at a high school in Vermont.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at Nutra Blend (Land O'Lakes) in City of Saint Albans for their generous donation of 96 backpacks for Maple Run students.

As part of a community service project, 25 employees from the Walnut Street facility spent the morning assembling backpacks to help local students start the school year with the supplies they need. Their kindness and commitment to giving back will make a meaningful difference for many families in our community.

Thank you to everyone at Nutra Blend for supporting Maple Run students and showing what community partnership is all about.

Graduation was Saturday for our 208 BFA seniors, and we’re still thinking about those caps!

From funny quotes to big dreams to full-on works of art, the decorated graduation caps were absolutely fantastic. So much personality, creativity, and self-expression on display.
