The Stearns County Tax Forfeited Property Auction is underway.

The auction is being held online through PublicSurplus.com. Bidding is open until 11:00 a.m. on June 30. Eight properties are available, located throughout Stearns County. We're seeking a District 3 Representative to serve on the Stearns County Extension Committee.

The Committee helps guide local Extension programs, supports community initiatives, and ensures resources meet the needs of residents throughout the County. We’re looking for someone who is community‑minded, engaged, and interested in shaping the future of Extension programming in District 3.

We dug in! Shovels, hard hats, and a whole lot of excitement marked the groundbreaking of the Stearns County Justice Center. After years of planning and collaboration, it was great to celebrate this important milestone with the many partners who have helped bring the project to life.

With shovels in the ground, the project is officially underway!

Stearns County’s Household Hazardous Waste truck will be in Holdingford (900 5th St.) this Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The mobile unit travels to cities throughout Stearns County, collecting hazardous household products that cannot be thrown in the garbage.
