LSS Youth Resource Center - St. Cloud

At the LSS Youth Resource Center, we honor Juneteenth by coming together in community and reflection. This year, we’re watching a documentary that highlights the history and significance of this important day while holding space and important discussions.

We’re also proud to support a local business, Zweetz ( ) by ordering the most delicious red velvet cupcakes for us to share amongst the St. Cloud LSS teams.

Red velvet cake has become a symbolic centerpiece of Juneteenth celebrations; with its rich red color representing resilience, sacrifice and the enduring strength of African Americans, while its sweetness reflects the joy and hope of freedom.

We are proud to honor all the youth we serve, celebrating their strength, their truths, their stories and the bright futures ahead of them.

With sincere appreciation, we thank Magnifi Financial for being a consistent partner in supporting our youth. Their continued presence and generosity demonstrate a deep commitment to strengthening our community and creating opportunities for young people to thrive. May absolutely flew by here at the LSS YRC - St. Cloud!! Here's what we've been up to!
We spent time with 45 incredible youth, welcomed 9 new young people into our space, and wrapped up the month of May with a grand total of 87 visits filled with connection, support, and growth.
Here at the resource center, we are grateful for every conversation, every laugh, and every moment together! Here's to continuing to show up for our youth!🤝☀♥

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

The LSS Youth Resource Center - St. Cloud would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Innate Healing in St. Cloud for visiting our space today and sharing such a powerful experience with our youth! Your sound bath session, offered in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, created a calming and restorative space that many of our young people truly needed.

The opportunity to pause, breathe, and connect through healing sound was more than just a moment, it was a meaningful reminder that wellness comes in many forms. Your presence helped introduce our youth to new ways of managing stress, finding balance, and prioritizing their mental health.
