Today during City Council A Session, we celebrated the Army’s 251st birthday.🎂 In doing so, we also honored the life of a District 5 resident and army veteran, Hilario Vara III. Hilario dedicated his life to service, after graduating from Burbank HS, and committed that same service to his community. Thank you to Xavier Vara and family for coming out to A Session, sharing your father’s story with us, and for continuing to carry on Hilario’s legacy. 🩵
