We were honored to welcome a delegation from Kyiv, Ukraine, to the Family Service Neighborhood Place as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the U.S. Department of State’s flagship professional exchange initiative.

A special thank you to the San Antonio Council for International Visitors for selecting Family Service to host these distinguished visitors and facilitate meaningful dialogue around supporting children and families.

The delegation of six senior professionals from Ukraine’s public and nonprofit sectors is participating in the project, “U.S. Best Practices for Promoting the Well-Being of Children.” Their expertise in child protection, social services, and reintegration support in war-affected communities made for an inspiring and impactful exchange of ideas.

At Family Service, we believe that strengthening children and families is a global responsibility. We were privileged to share how the Family Service Neighborhood Place serves as a hub for community resources, support services, and opportunities that empower families to thrive.
