We owe pride to trans women. We owe pride to our LGBTQ+ elders and ancestors. We owe pride to all who put their lives on the line for q***r liberation.
At PFLAG National, we proudly take up the mantle of those who fought before us, and lead with love in pursuit of an accepting, affirming, and equitable world for our LGBTQ+ loved ones.
Happy Pride.🏳️🌈🔥

Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring director Luchina Fisher, producer Stephen Chukumba, and parent Ed Diaz.
Entry is free but chairs and blankets are not, so bring your own seat of choice.

If you aren't able to attend our monthly support meeting at University Presbyterian on May 7 but are in the neighborhood of Travis Park UMC, come see author Nico Lang Thursday evening starting at 6:30 PM!
Join Nico Lang, a longtime LGBTQ+ journalist, as well as the author of the recently released book, American Teenager, which documents the lives of trans kids and their loved ones in seven different states. His goal was to speak back to extreme anti-trans rhetoric about youth by showing trans young people as they actually are: powerfully human. He's been touring the country for the past 19 months to bring their voices and stories to as many communities as possible, and as part of that work, he'll be in San Antonio next week — on Thursday, May 7 — for a reading/Q&A at Travis Park UMC. The event will start around 6:30pm.

RSVP at bit.ly/LOVIN2 and make your voice heard!
Join us this Friday, May 1st at 6PM to connect, learn, and stand in solidarity as we work to reduce barriers to valid identification for our most vulnerable communities.
The CCR was submitted last week by Councilmember Jalen McKee-Rodríguez, who will be at the forum with us alongside D1: Sukh, D4: Mungia, and D6: Galvan to share insights.
Come be part of the conversation as we get ready for next steps!
