While an ambulance may still be responding, Squad 1 is often one of the first units to arrive on scene. Our crews carry advanced medical equipment, including cardiac monitors and EMS bags, so patient care can begin immediately while additional resources are on the way.

employees are certified by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection at a minimum basic structural firefighter and by the Texas Department of State Health Services at a minimum of EMT-Basic level, most are EMT-Paramedics Terrell Hills Fire Department is a full-time career department accredited by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Advanced Life Support First Responder Organization.
