This Fatherâs Day, we celebrate the growing presence of fathers in Texas households. Between 2014 and 2024, the number of households increased from 3.0M to 3.4M, while the share with father figures, including married-couple and single male-headed households, rose from 75% to 77%.

Population growth remains strong across Texas. Fort Worth added 19,512 residents, with San Antonio (14,359) and Celina (12,710) close behind. Several other cities, including Houston and Fulshear, also saw gains above 11,000, reflecting broad-based growth statewide.
