For the first time ever, visitors will be able to view a rare piece of Sarah Wi******er’s personal wardrobe at the mansion 🧳
Beginning June 30, in celebration of our 103rd anniversary, Wi******er Mystery House will debut an extraordinary artifact: an intricately crafted blouse believed to have belonged to Sarah Wi******er herself.
On loan from Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley House Foundation, the blouse was originally donated to them by Minnie Yeager Hall in 1991. The Yeager family owned a ranch on nearby Moorpark Avenue, just around the corner from Sarah's home. Minnie claimed the blouse was gifted to her by Sarah when she was a child to play dress-up, creating a fascinating connection between the heiress and one of her young neighbors.
The blouse will be displayed for a limited time in Sarah Wi******er's bedroom on our tour, carefully preserved in a climate-controlled case with UV protection and security.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience an incredibly rare and tangible piece of Sarah Wi******er's legacy. ✨
📍 On display for a limited-time beginning June 30, 2026

Out of all the stained glass in the mansion, the Grand Ballroom windows are the only ones that contain words. The left features a quote from Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida, and the right from Richard II 📖
What they meant to Sarah and why she chose them is still a mystery today. What’s your best theory?
