Among their earliest achievements was opening a preschool for these children, which later grew to be Hope.

Music has a way of reaching people when nothing else can. It heals, it connects, and it gives us hope, and that's exactly what Hope Through Music is all about.
The New Hope Band gave everything they had, and the crowd felt every bit of it. The room was alive with warmth and joy the kind you can only get from live music. Seeing familiar faces alongside new ones made the day even more special!

These experiences created opportunities to build new skills, strengthen relationships, and make lasting memories together.

Thank you to NBC Bay Area for featuring Hope Services in a news story highlighting the growing challenges facing inclusive employment programs and the importance of creating meaningful workforce opportunities for people with disabilities. The segment spotlighted Hope Services' long-standing partnership with J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have successfully built careers and contributed to the workforce for more than two decades.
The story also raised awareness about the risks facing disability employment programs and the barriers many job seekers with disabilities continue to encounter. At a time when employment opportunities for people with disabilities are under increasing pressure, this coverage helps elevate the conversation around the importance of inclusive hiring and workforce development.

Since joining Hope in 2022, Jesse Ross has been on a remarkable journey, and we couldn't be prouder of how far he has come.
When Jesse first arrived, speaking up didn't come easy. Today, he engages with confidence, advocates for himself, and has built genuine, lasting friendships along the way. Known for his kind and considerate nature, Jesse brings a quiet warmth to everyone around him.
Outside of programming, Jesse is passionate about puzzles, Sonic, and One Piece. Over time, he has also made meaningful strides in stepping outside of his comfort zone — becoming more engaged with others and the activities around him with each passing month.
What has set Jesse apart is his consistency and dedication. Every Wednesday, without fail, he showed up to job class asking thoughtful questions, following up diligently, and checking in on his progress. That kind of commitment speaks volumes.
And now, it has paid off in the best way possible.
