Calling all teens!
Two lucky Santa Clara County teens will be selected as panelists to interview author Ellen Hagan during her author visit program discussing her book, Don't Call Me a Hurricane. If you are a teen between the ages of 13 and 18, and reside in Santa Clara County, you are eligible to apply. As we look forward to the kickoff of Silicon Valley Reads, we're pleased to spotlight the authors of the selected works for 2024.

Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, writer, and Brooklyn native. She was named one Time’s 100 leaders in 2021 and one of Elle’s 27 women leading on climate.

Dr. Katherine Wilkinson is an author, strategist, and teacher. Time has named her one of the 15 women “who will save the world.”
