Today we had a short skit about two sisters who went to get their photo taken together as one sister turns 50. The photographer made them feel very comfortable and the photos turned out great! It is the little things that mean so much, and memories last forever. Barbara and Phyllis played the characters with their own names. Judy played the part of Lacey, the Photographer. These ladies did a great impromptu job! Thank you for your participation.

Happy Father's Day to each and every Father! Have a wonderful and enjoyable day!

Today's Senior Social was men's choice for Father's Day. We had a total of 22 present, and the food was delicious. Thank you Longhorn's for your hospitality. We enjoyed our visit and the fellowship. Wishing all the Father's a great day with their families on Sunday! Prop your feet up and enjoy a nap! 😴

Today we celebrated the upcoming births of two very special babies. We know they WILL be special because of their sweet young Mothers. We have come to adopt Grace Blount from UGA Cooperative Extension Service as she provides us with nutrition information, health and wellness topics, and delicious simple recipes. She makes learning fun, and we always enjoy her sharing with us. Lindsay Pharis shares a bond with us as her Mother volunteers with events here at the Center, and is bold enough to help our Director chaperone our group on trips. We certainly enjoyed meeting Lindsay and loving on her today too! It was great to have the staff of UGA Cooperative Extension Service today to join in the celebration. Thank you for bringing the cakes and cupcakes to our celebration and for the beautiful sign created for Grace. It was perfect!

We pray that Grace and Lindsay have healthy babies, and are able to use all the lovely gifts and gift cards received. We cannot wait to see these little ones make their marks in our community! Congratulations and Best Wishes from us ALL!

Just for Men Monday (6/15)....just in time for Father's Day. Mr. Hugh was our s***t shooting winner with a score of 18. Them ducks were flying high and low through the building. 😜

Please be in prayer for member, Glenda Nana Yates Anderson and her family in the loss of her husband, Danny. Services will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. 🙏
