Today, Washington County Public Schools joins communities across the nation in recognizing Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress.
As we honor this important day in history, we encourage our students, staff, and families to reflect on its significance and the ongoing pursuit of equality and opportunity for all.

Washington County Public Schools has continued its commitment to developing future leaders through the “For Us, By Us” program. This locally developed initiative led by district staff through the 2025-26 school year provides aspiring leaders with insight into various areas of leadership. This year-long cohort completed a capstone project and presented their findings at the Washington County District Leadership meeting. Great job to everyone involved!

⚽️ Soccer Camp 2026 ⚽️
Last week was spent working on technical skills, positioning, working as a team, and learning to move with the ball more confidently and effectively. We cannot wait to see how these young soccer stars grow over the years.
Coach Swint would like to thank Mrs. May for her help, as well as a few members of the Lady Hawks Soccer Team: Hayden Wimbley, Jamaica James, and Marley Jenkins.
We look forward to next year’s Soccer Camp!
