Safety Stand Down – Day 2: Intentional Training for Firefighters
Why It Matters:
Firefighters face challenging and ever-changing conditions on every call. Success in these environments depends on more than experience, it requires deliberate, focused training. Intentional training combines assessment, planning, ex*****on, recovery, and evaluation into a continuous process that enhances performance, improves safety, reduces the risk of injury, and strengthens long-term physical and mental resilience.
By training with purpose, firefighters are better prepared to meet the demands of the job and return home safely.
