On June 9th, students from UW School of Drama brought LGBTQ+ seniors' stories to life at Hugo House with Out Loud: Stories of Seattle's Q***r Elders. Thank you to everyone who made this fantastic event possible, especially those elders who shared their stories!

LGBTQ+ elders are the first generation aging openly at this scale, yet many of the systems meant to support older adults remain deeply unprepared for their needs and experiences, leaving LGBTQ+ elders isolated and underserved.

This panel will bring providers and LGBTQ+ elders into direct conversation: the ask is to show up, listen, and learn. This will be a space for LGBTQ+ elders to show what truly inclusive aging support could look like.
