They recently helped us with a repair at our office, and we appreciated how fast, responsive, and knowledgeable they were. Their showroom is also a great resource for comparing fixture options and planning future projects.

This week’s Takeout Tuesday features another longtime Seattle favorite, San Fermo. Located in Ballard, San Fermo has been serving delicious Italian cuisine for years, and it’s easy to see why it remains a local favorite. The menu changes frequently to keep things fresh, and the handmade pasta, made fresh daily, is always a standout.
We shared two of the pasta dishes on this visit, and everything was absolutely delicious. Add in the cozy atmosphere, charming indoor and outdoor seating, and consistently great food, and it’s a place we look forward to visiting again.

Being recognized as one of Washington’s largest women-owned private companies means a lot to us, especially as a local, third-generation small business led by Shannon Woodman.
This recognition represents 83 years of relationships, hard work, and dedication from a team that cares deeply about helping protect our local community. It reflects the customers who continue to count on us, the generations who helped build Washington Alarm, and the values that have guided us since the beginning: Quality, Service, and Integrity.

Washington Alarm was grateful to attend Seattle's Union Gospel Mission's Catalyst 2026 event, an evening of generosity, hope, and community impact.
Founded in 1932 during the Great Depression, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission has spent generations walking alongside our neighbors in need, offering meals, shelter, recovery programs, and resources that truly help transform lives.
We are grateful for the hope, support, and lasting impact Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission continues to bring to our neighbors throughout our local community. This fundraiser helps support the important programs they provide each and every day, transforming lives here in Seattle while also helping shape better ways to serve neighbors in need across the country.
Together, the local community raised $1.5 million to help continue this important work!
