🚧 Construction is underway on the Stossel Revetment Major Repair Project along the Snoqualmie River near Carnation!

This important King County Flood Control District project will help protect Stossel Bridge, a county road, utilities, agricultural lands, and nearby properties from ongoing river erosion. The project will also include large wood structures that improve habitat for salmon and other aquatic species while strengthening the riverbank.

Erosion has damaged the revetment that protects this critical infrastructure. By making these repairs now, we're helping reduce future risks, maintain access for residents, and support a healthier river ecosystem.

Learn more about the project, what construction involves, and what residents and river users can expect during construction in our latest blog.
