While socials will be quiet during the summer, stay tuned for upcoming Fall events.

Volunteers can sign up for one week of care, with watering needed daily in hot weather or every other day when cool (about 30–60 minutes per visit). You can sign up for one or both garden areas.

Keys are picked up on Sunday and returned on Saturday, with details shared after signup.

Yearbooks will be distributed on Monday, 6/15. Missed the ordering window? You’re in luck! A limited number of yearbooks will be for sale for $20 each (cash or card) starting on Monday, after school on the playground! We will continue to sell them after school until they are sold out!

Whether you donated one bottle of sprinkles for an ice cream party or chaperoned every field trip, the school wouldn’t be successful without our volunteers!

Please join us in the Lafayette Cafeteria on Wednesday, June 10, from 8:00–10:00 AM. Be sure to check in at the office when you arrive.

Students have been hard at work creating special crafts and thank-you cards, and classes will be performing throughout the celebration as a heartfelt way to show appreciation for all you’ve done this year. Refreshments will be served, and we encourage you to stay for the full celebration if you’re able.

Parents Needed for the 5th Grade vs. Staff Kickball Game – Last Day of School, 6/17

One of Lafayette’s favorite end of year traditions is back! The entire school comes out to cheer as our 5th graders take on Lafayette staff in the annual kickball game.

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help make the event run smoothly by supervising student spectators, passing out Otter Pops, and running music during the game.

Please note: due to space and supervision needs, this event is for students and staff only. Parents are not invited to attend unless signed up to volunteer.

Our final PTA General Meeting of the year is tomorrow, June 3rd at 6:30pm on Zoom. We’ll be having a detailed discussion of the ‘26-’27 Budget Proposal, and introducing our slate of Executive Board nomination.

Volunteers Needed for Field Day – June 12th!

The end of school is near and that means that Field Day is almost here, and we need your help to make it a fun and memorable day for our students! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with games, activities, setup, and cleanup on Friday, June 12th.
3rd-5th Grade Volunteers: 7:30-10:30am

Kinder-2nd Grade Volunteers: 12:00-1:30pm

This event requires a lot of volunteers to be successful, your time and energy will make a huge difference. No experience necessary—just a willingness to have fun and help out!
