We are so grateful to everyone who attended our PREPARES "Gather for love. Give for life!" luncheon last week. We heard heartfelt stories, shared delicious food, and came together in fellowship to celebrate volunteers and families. Special thanks to Bishop Schuster for his blessing, CCSWW CEO Jilma for her support, PREPARES Director Aleah for her emcee skills, the Sunrise Foundation for sponsorship, and Rosemary for her excellent planning!

Another adorable end of year celebration! We are grateful to the volunteers that started a brand new Play with Love at St. Edward's this year and are looking forward to another year of play after a well-deserved summer break.

Last weekend the PREPARES ministry at St. John’s Vancouver partnered with the Vancouver Mobile and Dental Clinic for a day at Bridgeview Family Resource Center. Six PREPARES families were provided diapers and wipes, and then PREPARES volunteers walked with each family as they navigated the resources through the Mobile Medical and Dental clinic. It was really a great way to build meaningful connections between volunteers and the families all while accessing some basic health needs.

We're looking forward to welcoming guests to the second annual PREPARES luncheon this Thursday!
