🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: I-10 WESTBOUND CLOSURE 🚧

Motorists should plan for overnight and morning travel impacts this weekend.

📅 Friday, June 12 | 9:00 p.m. – Saturday, June 13 | 12:00 p.m.

The I-10 westbound main lanes will be fully closed from Walnut Branch Creek to SH 46 while crews perform roadway improvements. The westbound entrance ramp after Walnut Branch Creek will also be closed during this time.

➡️ DETOUR:
Westbound traffic will exit at SH 46, continue along the westbound frontage road, pass through the SH 46 intersection, and re-enter I-10 using the westbound entrance ramp before FM 464.

Please slow down in work zones, follow all posted detour signs, and allow extra travel time.

The Seguin Police Department is proud to offer a limited-edition novelty patch in honor of the 250th Anniversary of America.

These commemorative patches are available for $15 each, with all proceeds benefiting our youth engagement programs and community outreach efforts.

If you are interested in purchasing a patch, you can visit the Seguin Police Department Records Department Monday-Friday from 8am- 4 pm. We accept:

• Exact cash ($15)
• Check (payable to: Seguin Police Department)
• Credit card

If you do not live in Seguin and would still like to purchase a patch, you may mail your payment to:

Please include the correct payment amount along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope so we can mail the patch to you.

82 years ago today, on the beaches of Normandy, brave members of the Allied Forces stormed the shores of France in what became known as D-Day.

On June 6, 1944, more than 150,000 troops from the United States, Great Britain, Canada, and other Allied nations launched the largest amphibious invasion in history. Their courage and sacrifice marked a turning point in World War II and helped begin the liberation of Western Europe.

Today, we remember the heroes who fought, those who never made it home, and the generations forever changed by their bravery. May we never forget their sacrifice.

The Seguin Police Department is showing some support for our neighboring city’s team as they continue their run in the NBA Finals!

Good luck to the San Antonio Spurs in tomorrow’s game. We know there are a lot of Spurs fans right here in Seguin, and we’re excited to see South Texas represented on basketball’s biggest stage.
