🎓Borough President Vito Fossella looked on with a smile as the fifth-graders at P.S. 26 received their diplomas at their graduation ceremony yesterday.

He offered his congratulations and his encouragement for their future success in high school, college, and beyond.

Borough President Vito Fossella attended a picnic hosted by the NYC Verrazano 10-13 Association, a fraternal organization for active and retired NYPD officers, at the Nansen Lodge in Travis on Wednesday

He offered his full support and thanks to the men and women who wore our city’s uniform and the men and women who wear our nation’s uniform.

A moment of silence was held for those deployed overseas.

🐾 Earlier today, BP Vito Fossella and the Animal Care Centers joined students at PS 60 for a Tommy Monahan Pet Talk.

Created in memory of Tommy Monahan, a young Staten Island hero who lost his life while trying to save his pets during a house fire, the program teaches students about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of treating animals with kindness and respect.

Thank you to the Animal Care Centers of NYC and everyone who helps keep Tommy’s legacy alive through this important educational program!
