Each year, United Way of Payne County conducts agency presentations, as part of the Community Investment Application, where local 501(c)(3) nonprofits apply to become accredited partner agencies.

By assisting our staff in preparing for the annual financial audit and reviewing the external audit as well as Form 990, this team plays a critical role in upholding the transparency and financial integrity of our organization.

They are always working to ensure our fiscal practices meet a high level of accountability and we could not be more grateful for them! 🩵🤝

United Way Partner Agencies In Action: Legal Aid Services ⚖

While the criminal legal system provides an appointed attorney for criminal matters and police officers to enforce laws, there are no officers and no right to an attorney within the civil justice system.

Legal Aid Services exists to help low-income Oklahomans facing serious civil legal problems by serving as their civil attorney.

We are grateful for Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. and their dedication to advocating for those facing civil legal problems.
