American Medical Response - Atlanta would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Rockdale County Fire Department on the tragic loss of Firefighter, Juan Antonia Smith II. This is an incredibly difficult time for their department, their families, and the entire community they serve.
We stand in solidarity with the Rockdale Fire Department and honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifice that their firefighter demonstrated in service to others. Our thoughts and prayers are with the department, the firefighter’s loved ones, and all those affected by this loss.

🚑✨ Please Join Us in Welcoming Tina Wright our new QA & QI Supervisor to AMR Atlanta!
Tina brings over 30 years of dedicated EMS experience, with an impressive background spanning clinical operations, leadership, quality assurance, education, and state-level EMS data management.
Her EMS career began in 1996 with Atlanta South Ambulance Service as an EMT-I, and she earned her Paramedic certification in 2000. Tina joined Grady EMS, where she dedicated over two decades of service and leadership. During her tenure, advanced through several key roles, including: including Field Training Officer, QA/QI Officer, QA Manager, and ultimately Director of the QA Department—where she led a team of clinical and dispatch QA specialists focused on excellence in patient care and performance improvement.
In 2023, Tina continued her impact at the state level as the GEMSIS System Administrator with the Georgia Office of EMS & Trauma, further strengthening EMS systems and advancing data quality across Georgia.
Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance, as well as an MBA in Human Resource Leadership, bringing both clinical expertise and strategic leadership to our team.

🎉🚑 DeKalb Operations – Work Anniversary 🎉
Congratulating FTO Paramedic Jeffery Mullins on a 5-year anniversary with the company. Jeffery began this journey with the company in DeKalb County as an EMT student in one of our first “Earn While You Learn” programs, demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to growth from the very start. Since then, Jeffery has continued to invest in professional development by completing our Paramedic program and earning his Paramedic license, a significant accomplishment that reflects both skill and determination.
Most recently, Jeffery has taken on the added responsibility of becoming a Field Training Officer (FTO), helping guide and mentor the next generation of providers. In addition, Jeffery proudly serves as a member of the Georgia Honor Guard team, representing the company with professionalism and pride.
Over the past five years, Jeffery Mullins has made a meaningful impact through hard work, leadership, and a continued commitment to excellence in patient care and service.
