Had an amazing time attending LECOM Elmira’s Accepted Students Day on May 29th! It was a privilege to congratulate the incoming class and celebrate one of our own Navy HPSP recipients, Kim Huynh. Brought along some well-deserved Navy merch to mark the occasion. Choosing to pursue medicine while committing to serve our country is an incredible path, and these future leaders deserve all the support we can give them!

WHAT A BUSY WEEK!! Spring break + annual command training in Pittsburgh, perfect timing to bring the kids along to experience the city.
We logged about 14 hours of travel in 3 days, but it was 100% worth it (they’re already asking to come again next year, I’m sure the baskets they won has something to do with it as well 😂 ).
In between Navy events, we made the most of it: Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, The Mall at Robinson (stopped by BoxLunch and Claire’s, plus one of the biggest hobby shops I’ve ever seen, Four Horsemen Comics and Gaming), and of course had to hit up IHOP
One of the best aspects, the Navy covering some of the cost (since the training was required) and hosting a great family-friendly evening that reflected on successes and building camaraderie. Also the savings with military discounts at almost every stop added up, and those benefits go a long way when planning these family trips.
