We serve the citizens of Hillsborough County, City of Plant City, City of Temple Terrace, and the City of Tampa by providing a vision for improving the quality of life. We are an independent, consolidated planning agency, led by 10 citizen appointees from all 4 local jurisdictions. We promote and coordinate comprehensive long-range planning, growth-management, transportation, and environmental protection, as we make our recommendations to the local jurisdictions.

Last week, we hosted several Hillsborough County high school students for the Future Leaders in Planning (FLiP) program. These students learned about urban planning as a potential future career through various presentations, field trips, and hands-on projects. We were impressed with their thoughtful designs and curiosity, and can't wait to see what they do next!
