Our team had a wonderful time celebrating Juneteenth together as we reflected on freedom, unity, culture, and progress. Thank you to Commissioner Cloar and Edwards for joining us in this meaningful celebration.

What an amazing day at our 2026 HUD Strong Families Initiative lead by Commissioner Edwards! We were proud to serve approximately 300 children and families during a day filled with fun, food, literacy/education, health and wellness, and economic empowerment. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a tremendous success!

Summer is in full swing, and our youth are making the most of it! Participants in our Summer Enrichment Program are enjoying exciting and rewarding experiences. We are proud to provide opportunities that inspire learning, growth, and lasting memories throughout the summer.

Our Leadership was honored to attend the City of Tampa’s Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony, a meaningful celebration of freedom, history, and progress. A special highlight was meeting Benjamin Haith, the designer of the Juneteenth flag, whose work has become a powerful symbol of liberation and unity across the nation.

Congratulations to our newest homeowner!

Through hard work, determination, and commitment, Juanita Vazques successfully completed Tampa Housing Authority’s Homeownership Program and Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program and utilized $25,056 in escrow savings earned through the program toward the purchase of her new home.

There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing dreams of homeownership become a reality. Her journey is a powerful example of how dedication and the right resources can create life-changing opportunities. We are proud to celebrate this incredible milestone and wish Juanita many years of happiness in her new home!

The first week of employment for more than 100 Youth Employment Summer Program participants was a tremendous success! Students completed an engaging orientation focused on personal and professional development, financial literacy, workplace readiness, and more.

A special thank you to Grow Financial for partnering with us to establish bank accounts for every participant and providing a $50 match, helping each student start their financial journey with $100 in their account.

The 2026 Summer Enrichment Program is off to a fantastic start as our youth enjoyed an exciting day of skating, laughter, and fellowship. Activities like these provide opportunities for recreation, relationship-building, and creating lasting summer memories.
