At noon today, Florida’s candidate qualifying period for 2026 closed. The status of local candidates who qualified with Hillsborough County can be found at VoteHillsborough.gov.

Hillsborough County candidates: the candidate qualifying period ends today – June 12 – at noon! All required documents and fees must be submitted to our office by then. ⏳

Poll worker training for the 2026 election cycle has officially begun! Around 2,000 poll workers will participate in award-winning online and in-person training as they get ready to run our polling places this August and November. Want to join them? Visit VoteHillsborough.gov to apply.
