Outside of work, Joseph is a writer and avid runner, often drawing inspiration from both to reflect on life’s meaningful moments. Above all, he is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, with family at the center of everything he does.
A dedicated advocate for lung health, Joseph has been an active supporter of the American Lung Association for years, including serving as Chair of the FFA Climb in 2021 and contributing to the organization’s growth through fundraising and community engagement. Joe’s dedication to both the Fight For Air Climb and the Gulf Coast Bike Trek shows his commitment to not only the lung association but to his community as a whole!!

The winner of the 2026 Above & Beyond Award presented by 4DMedical is Sonia DeYampert! Sonia is a retired US Army Veteran who knows firsthand the long-term issues that come along with exposure to various toxins while in active duty. We are thankful for her advocacy on behalf of everyone experiencing respiratory issues - thank you for your incredible work!
