Good morning, The Colony Police Department will be conducting targeted traffic enforcement in the Main St. and Memorial Drive area during peak travel times:

🕒 6:45 AM – 9:00 AM
🕒 2:45 PM – 4:45 PM

Officers will be focusing on:

🚗 Speeding
🚦 Running Red Lights
🔗 Seat Belt Violations
📱 Distracted Driving
⚠️ Other Traffic Violations

We encourage everyone to slow down, stay alert, buckle up, and put distractions away.

The Colony Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Damiya James.

📍 Last seen: Around 2:00 PM near her residence off Yager Drive in The Colony.
Description:

• 5'6" tall
• Approximately 198 lbs.
• Last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and blue shorts.

Officers have received information that she was seen getting into a gold/gray passenger vehicle with a male. The make and model of the vehicle are unknown.

If you have seen Damiya or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact The Colony Police Department immediately at 972-625-1887.

The Colony Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 70-year-old John Joseph Longobricco.

Mr. Longobricco was last seen around 3:30 p.m. driving an older model red Chrysler passenger car bearing Texas license plate BVL4498.

He was last seen wearing:
🔹 Baseball cap
🔹 Blue tank top shirt
🔹 Light blue shorts
🔹 White sneakers

If you have seen Mr. Longobricco, his vehicle, or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact The Colony Police Department immediately at 972-625-1887.

Etching your catalytic converter can help deter theft by making it easier to identify and more difficult to sell if stolen.

The Colony Police Department has recently seen an increase in wheel and tire thefts, particularly in apartment communities.

Help protect your vehicle by:

• Using locking lug nuts
• Engraving or etching your wheels with the last 4-6 digits of your VIN or another unique identifier
• Installing a tracking device inside a wheel or tire

These simple steps can help deter theft and assist investigators in recovering stolen property.

If you see suspicious activity around parked vehicles, report it to the police immediately. Stay vigilant and help keep our community safe.
