Tomball Is Texan for Fun

🥵 Have you noticed that it's a little warm outside? Well, thankfully the Tomball Community Center is nice and cool 😌 all summer long! We've got a full activity list for July, and all ages are welcome to join us for a variety of programs.

Also, we have a new and improved projector at the Comm Center, and we're super excited to host a FREE Family Movie Night on Friday, July 17, to break it in! We're keeping the movie a ✨mystery✨ for fun, but think pirates, mermaids, fairies, and a lot of adventure! We invite everyone to bring lawn chairs and blankets and join us. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and the movie will begin at 6:30 p.m. We'll also have light refreshments available while supplies last. 🥤🍿 Please RSVP for this event by July 15 by calling, emailing, or stopping by in-person and letting us know you'll be there!

FACT: The Theis Attaway Nature Center at 13509 Theis Lane was donated to the City of Tomball in honor of A. W. (Allie) Theis, one of the forefathers of the Theis family, by his wife Thelma Attaway Theis, and their children.

"Now, Mother gives this land so a piece of Tomball's past and a small part of God's wonders may be preserved. Daddy, a man with big hands and an even bigger heart, would be especially proud that here the legacy of good times among family and friends will continue. Tomball Farmers Market is hosting their annual Holiday Heroes Dunk Tank Fundraiser on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.!

The goal of this event is to help raise money for Tomball's Holiday Heroes program where local first responders take disadvantaged children shopping for Christmas. Registration for July’s Kids Club: Nature Explorers Day on July 10, 2026, is officially open at tomballtx.gov/704/Tomball-Kids-Club!

We're gearing up for a morning of adventure and learning with hands-on activities, interactive fun, and lots of fresh air as we take a close look into nature. Light bites and refreshments will be provided for all participating children.

Tomball Kids Club is a free program designed for children from 5 to 12 years old. Parents or guardians must be present for the entirety of the program.

Spots fill up fast, sign-ups will remain available until we have reached capacity!

We're so excited to celebrate the USA's 250th birthday this year in Tomball!

👉 This is your sign to join us for an epic evening packed with patriotic fun on Saturday, July 4th, on Business Highway 249 north of 2920 (behind Kroger) starting at 6:00 p.m.! 👈

We'll have live music by Willow Creek Junction, photo ops, patriotic programming and a 21-gun salute, contests, giveaways, a huge fireworks show, and more! 🤩 This year's kids' zone will include face painting, inflatable obstacle courses and slip 'n slides, games, and bubble stations.

But wait 👀, we're ALSO going to be hosting a watch party for National Treasure on a giant LED screen on site. 🤯

Make sure to invite your lawn chairs, pack up your friends, and make your way to Tomball for a free, family-friendly Independence Day celebration you won't want to miss! 🎆🎇
