Today, I joined Mayor Nichols for the announcement of three more encampment enclosures and the housing of 23 individuals as part of the Safe Move Tulsa Initiative.
Since this initiative to end homelessness began in late 2025, 134 people have been housed, 100 TONS of trash and debris have been cleaned up on city properties, and nine encampments have been decommissioned and have not returned.

Earlier this week, I attended the 30th annual Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, where I had the honor of delivering a proclamation officially recognizing Tuesday, May 5 as Kyle Petty Charity Ride Day. It was also an honor to meet Kyle Petty and his father, Richard Petty.
This charitable event has become one of the nation’s most successful and widely recognized. Since 1995, more than 9,575 riders have collectively traveled over 13.3 million miles and raised more than $23 million in support of Victory Junction and other children’s charities.

Yesterday, I joined Meta alongside PartnerTulsa, State and City leaders to break ground on Tulsa’s new $1 billion data center. This will be one of the largest economic development projects in the City’s history.
The Tulsa Data Center will be located in East Tulsa, leading to additional jobs and increased community investment. Meta will launch its Data Center Community Action Grants program, supporting local schools and nonprofits with funding and technology-focused initiatives that strengthen STEAM education and community development.

🐱 It's no secret that cats are my favorite animal, so when I was given the opportunity to foster this sweet mother and her kittens, I said yes!
Tulsa Animal Services (TAS) is always looking for volunteers to foster pets that need just a little more time to find their fur-ever family. If you are interested in fostering with TAS, complete this foster care application: https://forms.office.com/g/JRveykXPM7.
