🐾 A Lifeline for Tulsa Pets 🐾

It's "kitten season" when shelters are overflowing with newborn kittens needing extra care and temporary homes.

Councilor Christian Bengel recently fostered a mama cat and five kittens in need.

Fostering helps animals in shelters become adjusted to a home life before they are adopted into their furever family.

Fostering also supports the shelter by providing more space for incoming animals, saving more than one life.

Tulsa Animal Services is always looking for more foster homes, as well as permanent homes.

We are happy to report that Councilor Bengel and his family have officially adopted two of the kittens!
