If you're ready to take the next step toward becoming a Certified Arborist, join Alabama Extension for the Arborist Review Workshop on June 29–30 at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center in Fairhope, Alabama.
This two-day workshop is designed to help participants prepare for the ISA Certified Arborist exam while expanding their knowledge of tree biology, identification, planting, pruning, plant health care, urban forestry, and more. Current ISA Certified Arborists can also earn up to 12 CEUs for attending.

Please join us on Thursday, July 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a Hay Production Meeting at the Tuscaloosa Courthouse Annex Auditorium, located at 2513 7th Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
This educational program will focus on producing high-quality hay and maximizing forage value for your livestock operation. Topics will include:
• Fertility management strategies and fertilizer options for hay fields
• Determining the optimal harvest window for peak nutrition and digestibility
• Proper hay sampling techniques
• Understanding and interpreting hay test results to make informed winter feeding decisions
Whether you are producing hay for your own operation or for sale, this program will provide practical information to help improve forage quality, reduce winter feeding costs, and support livestock performance.

As part of Auburn University's 250 celebration of America, Alabama Extension's goal is 250 pounds of fresh produce donated in each county between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Food insecurity remains a serious issues across Alabama, affecting approximately 2 million residents, including 1 in 4 children. Will you be part of the challenge and make a difference in your community? Every pound counts.
