Today, we honor Juneteenth, a powerful reminder of resilience, perseverance, and the enduring pursuit of freedom.

As we reflect on this important day in American history, we recognize the significance of freedom for Black Americans and honor the generations whose courage and determination helped shape a more just and equitable future.

Juneteenth serves as both a celebration of progress and a reminder of the importance of creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Together, we can create pathways to a brighter future through unity, understanding, and empowerment.

Every journey starts with a first step.

In 2025, 26 young people chose to invest in themselves through our Job Readiness Training program. 17 completed the program and gained the skills, confidence, and preparation needed to move closer to employment and long-term success.

For many young adults, the path forward isn't always clear. Sometimes what makes the difference is access to guidance, encouragement, and an opportunity to learn the skills needed to take that next step.

At Human Works, we're committed to helping youth build confidence, discover their potential, and create pathways toward a brighter future.

Help us create more pathways forward. Donate today and be part of someone's success story: https://www.human-works.org/donate
