Last Saturday, a future Marine with Recruiting Station Los Angeles put in the work during the Initial Strength Test (IST), taking another step toward earning the title. Every run starts with a single stride. Keep pushing forward. 💪🇺🇸

These promotions represent years of dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the mission and the Marines they serve. Their hard work, professionalism, and perseverance have set the standard within Recruiting Station Los Angeles and continue to inspire those around them.

Earlier this month, the 12th Marine Corps District 8412 Symposium brought together the Marines shaping the future of recruiting across the western United States. Through professional development, collaboration, and leadership discussions, these Marines sharpened the tools needed to inspire the next generation to earn the title Marine. 🇺🇸

This symposium also marked an important milestone for RSLA as SSgt Zamudio, SSgt Jimenez, SSgt Cortez, and SSgt Dellinger were officially recognized as Marine Corps Career Recruiters. Congratulations to these Marines on their commitment to the future of the Marine Corps and the next generation they will help inspire.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 graduates who were recognized by Our Community Salutes for their commitment to serving our nation. Especially our U.S. Marine Corps poolees for choosing to serve in the United States Marine Corps. We couldn’t be more proud of these young men and women for making the decision to earn the title Marine and take on the challenge of serving something greater than themselves.

A special thank you to Our Community Salutes for facilitating such a meaningful recognition ceremony and giving these future Marines the opportunity to be honored in front of their parents, families, and recruiters before beginning their journey to recruit training and also to our 1st Marine Division Band for providing an amazing ensemble for the ceremony.

Recruiters from RSS Visalia were out connecting with the community, meeting future leaders, and bringing the challenge to the crowd. From the arena to the pull-up bar, it was all about grit, determination, and representing something bigger than yourself.

Huge shoutout to the Marine Band San Diego’s Jazz Ensemble for coming out to Recruiting Station Los Angeles in March and putting on an incredible performance for our local high schools! 🎶🇺🇸

From an amazing set, to showing students the unique musical opportunities the Marine Corps has to offer, they truly brought the energy and inspiration!
