No Exit officially takes the stage on June 27th at Atlas Performing Arts Center, performed by

Brought to life from Sartre’s writing, this is the kind of play that stays with you. It’s unsettling, funny, and deeply human.

Here’s the thing: No Exit is all about being trapped with other people, so why not make it a group outing?

Bring six or more friends, and you’ll get a group discount – because great theater (and great company) is always better shared. So rally your book club, your dinner crew, or your favorite cousins and make a night of it. Dinner, drinks, and a show? Sounds great, right? We’ll even throw in the existential crisis for free.

Tickets are moving fast, so grab yours now – and bring your people.

Did you know that the World Cup, or, La coupe du monde, is actually French in origin? 🇫🇷

That’s right, France has been a big player in the soccer/football scene since the beginning! 🏟️

Come join us on Friday, June 26 for an exceptional conference, Le soccer en France et aux États-Unis : Un sport, deux trajectoires, led by Jonathan Hill.

Jonathan Hill is a historian of the French Empire and a passionate follower of football, who will be comparing the development of the sport in France and the United States during the first decades after its arrival in each country.

It’s Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈📚 Got any plans next Wednesday?

In one week, come join us at AFDC on June 17, 7:00pm for Exploring Le***an Literature Through Writings of French Feminist Authors, in English.

This evening of literary conversation will explore the works of two powerful writers of French q***r literature: Monique Wittig and Mireille Best.

We are pleased to welcome Alice Centamore (Winter Editions), Dr. Stephanie Schechner (translator and Professor Emerita of French, Widener University), and Dr. Miléna Santoro (Georgetown University), who will moderate the discussion.

Together, they will reflect on the challenges and possibilities of translating q***r experience, across languages, and literarily, across narrative form.

There will be a reception and opportunity to connect with the speakers to follow.
