🗽 On this day in 1885, the Statue of Liberty arrived in New York Harbor in pieces, soon to be assembled into one of the Nation's most enduring symbols of freedom and hope.

🏛️ in 1901, Philadelphia welcomed a new landmark, the third Philadelphia Mint building on Spring Garden Street. The Beaux-Arts masterpiece featured seven Tiffany glass mosaics and cost $2 million to build.
