It was great to catch up with USDA Under Secretary Richard Fordyce this week!

As a fourth-generation farmer, Under Secretary Fordyce brings valuable firsthand experience to USDA, helping strengthen rural communities and ensuring farmers and ranchers have the tools they need to succeed.

Thank you for your commitment to American agriculture!

I was grateful to welcome Kansas FFA students to D.C. last week. These students represent the very best of rural America, and I’m proud to support their work to grow, lead, and serve. As a former FFA chapter president in Quinter, KS, I am especially thankful for their commitment to shaping the future of agriculture!

I had the opportunity to help leave Kansas’s mark on the birthday cake! I was honored to represent the Sunflower State as part of this special project, which will be presented at the Library of Congress on July 4.

Thank you to renowned cake artist Grey Pak for volunteering her extraordinary talent to create this one-of-a-kind cake, featuring contributions from all 50 states.

After four years of open border policies under President Biden, the American people made it clear they want a secure border, safer communities, and a government that enforces the law.

House Republicans passed the Secure America Act last week, delivering critical funding for the Department of Homeland Security and other key programs that keep Americans safe.

Interns are a vital part of a congressional office, and I’m excited to offer students the same opportunity that introduced me to public service through my first role in Congress.

My offices in D.C., Manhattan, and Dodge City are now accepting applications for Fall 2026!

This month, we celebrate Kansas dairy producers who work tirelessly to provide healthy, nutritious options on kitchen tables around the country. I’m grateful for the families across the Big First whose dedication drives our nation’s dairy industry.

It is an honor to serve as the Chairman of House Ag GOP Subcommittee on Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry and advocate for strong dairy programs. Thank you to our dairy producers for all you do, and Happy National Dairy Month!

Food security is national security. That’s why I worked to secure funding for Food for Peace and the McGovern-Dole program in this year’s Agriculture Appropriations Act. Both programs help connect American farmers with the mission of feeding hungry people around the world using American-grown commodities while strengthening markets for U.S. agriculture.

For months, Washington Democrats have refused to support the resources needed to secure our borders and enforce immigration laws.

House Republicans just passed the Secure America Act, which funds DHS, Border Patrol, and ICE for the next three years while supporting critical national security programs.
