Mayor Mamdani showed up to celebrate with Darializa tonight, and the room knew exactly what they were witnessing.
It’s a new era. The same energy that elected him is electing a whole slate behind him now. This is what people-powered politics looks like when it’s just getting started. 🗽✨
Our Revolution
Sen. Sanders launched Our Revolution to empower everyday Americans to stand up to corporate interests
Our Revolution will reclaim democracy for the working people of our country by harnessing the transformative energy of the “political revolution.” Through supporting a new generation of progressive leaders, empowering millions to fight for progressive change and elevating the political consciousness, Our Revolution will transform American politics to make our political and economic systems once again responsive to the needs of working families.

Tonight felt like the first time since AOC beat Joe Crowley that the ground actually shifted under an entire wing of the party.
Some might call it a political revolution. 🗽👊🏽

Thank you, and , for putting principles over polls.
The arc doesn’t bend on its own. It bends when people are willing to put skin in the game and stick their necks out when it actually matters.
You both took that risk on Darializa, Brad, and Claire.
Tonight, it paid off. Not just for them, but for everyone watching who needed proof that change is still possible.

¡Sí se pudo!
She just did what almost nobody saw coming, the kind of upset that redraws the map for an entire generation of challengers.
A political newcomer with no machine, no establishment money, and a fraction of the resources just unseated a five-term incumbent who chairs the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
People are tired. Tired of money deciding elections before they vote. Tired of harassment standing in for an answer. Tired of the same old, do-nothing politics. They see right through all of it, and they know who’s actually serving them.
Darializa Avila Chevalier, congresswoman-elect. 🗳️✨

Congratulations to .lander on his win tonight.
He took on corporate landlords, the real estate lobby, and AIPAC’s money. Voters chose him over all of it.
Proud to have backed Brad from day one🗽

Claire Valdez just won by doing it the hard way: out-organizing the money, not out-spending it.
She never wavered on Gaza when staying quiet would have been easier. Her moral clarity wasn’t a liability. It’s exactly why people showed up for her.
Principled campaigns can win. Congratulations, Claire. 🗽

As voters head to the polls today, one thing is impossible to ignore: more than $50 million has been spent trying to influence just a handful of Democratic primaries.
This isn’t simply about who wins or loses an election. When wealthy donors, Super PACs, and special interests can spend unlimited sums to shape races, they also gain outsized influence over the priorities, policies, and political debates that follow. The question isn’t just who gets elected—it’s who elected officials will ultimately be accountable to.
The Democratic Party faces a choice: build power from the grassroots and earn the trust of working people, or continue relying on billionaire-funded outside spending to shape its future. Democracy works best when voters—not big money—determine who represents them and what kind of country we build together.
$50 Million Spent on N.Y. Primaries Includes A.I. and AIPAC Money As early voting began earlier this month, AIPAC emerged from the sidelines to funnel $650,000 to Representative Adriano Espaillat, a candidate opposed by a democratic socialist.
Mayor Mamdani is right.
You don’t get to look away from the deaths and pretend the people defending the system that allows them are untouchable.
Naming them isn’t bigotry. It’s the bare minimum.
It’s no coincidence that Ro Khanna is the target of hate from oligarchs like Elon Musk. Ro represents Silicon Valley and has called on his ultra-wealthy residents to pay more in taxes. He’s also one of the few in Congress willing to demand Musk answer for what DOGE’s USAID cuts cost in human lives.
That’s exactly why Musk is threatening him now, not because Ro broke any law, but because he keeps asking the one question billionaires like Musk refuse to answer: accountability. Musk’s response: call for his imprisonment instead of answering it.
This is what oligarchy looks like. We stand with Ro Khanna.
