The Games begin today!
Our Team DC athletes are waking up ready to compete, ready to represent, and ready to put their hearts on the line. Every early morning, every practice, every challenge has led to this moment.
Let’s show them some love as they take the field, course, court, and lanes with pride. We couldn’t be more proud to cheer on these incredible athletes as they chase their dreams and show the nation what inclusion, determination, and courage look like.

Team DC showed up and showed out at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games Opening Ceremonies!
What an incredible night celebrating the athletes, coaches, and unified partners who have worked so hard to get here. The energy in the stadium was electric, and we could feel the love and support coming all the way from home in DC.
