Service members from every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces supported the UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest and ceremonial weigh-in at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., June 13, 2026. The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps entertained the crowd earlier in the day, and The U.S. Army Ceremonial Band backed up the Zac Brown Band while the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon provided ceremonial support to the event.

What does the U.S. flag mean to you? For those serving in our armed forces, it takes on a deeper meaning. It represents honor, integrity, duty and many other ideals to those who have defended our nation for 250 years.

In our Twilight Tattoo show this season, we share the history of Old Glory, from the first flag sewn by Betsy Ross to the flags which were carried into our nation's greatest conflict and the flags seen on service members' uniform today.

Today is Flag Day, and we honor the stars and stripes. By doing so, we remember that it represents the freedom found only in America.

No FOMO needed. Even if you missed out on Twilight Tattoo so far this season, we still have THREE shows remaining!

Each show includes inspirational music by The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" and The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and powerful ceremonial demonstrations and battle reenactments by 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard).

Come celebrate the contributions made by Army Soldiers as we share stories about the innovative ways they have protected our nation for 250 years!

The weather had other plans, but it was still an honor to be part of the Twilight Tattoo.

While we weren’t able to jump, we enjoyed spending the evening with Soldiers, families, and visitors and watching another incredible performance in our nation’s capital.
