This past Friday, Cardozo EC came together for our Wellness Fest in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

From the Affirmation Station and karaoke to dancing, games, and moments of connection, the goal was simple: give students and staff a space to pause, breathe, and just exist.

In a world that is constantly asking us to do more, Wellness Fest reminded us of the importance of caring for ourselves and each other. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped create a day filled with positivity, laughter, and community.

The Inaugural Cardozo Business Expo 💼

The Cardozo Business Expo showcases the incredible work happening across our Career & Technical Education pathways. From Graphic Arts & Illustration and Culinary Arts to Computer Science, JROTC, Teaching & Learning, and more, students have the opportunity to share their projects, skills, and experiences with the community.

This event highlights the creativity, innovation, leadership, and career readiness that our students develop through hands-on, real-world learning. We are proud to celebrate the talent, dedication, and future success of our Clerks. 💜🦉

As we close out AAPI Heritage Month, the students of Cardozo EC had the opportunity to learn more about the history, cultures, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific
Islander communities.

A few facts we learned:
✨ Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders represent more than 50 ethnic groups and speak over 100 languages.
✨ Filipino American labor leader Larry Itliong helped organize the Delano Grape Strike, a pivotal moment in U.S. labor history.
✨ Architect I.M. Pei designed some of the world’s most recognizable buildings, including the glass pyramid at the Louvre.
✨ AAPI communities have made lasting contributions to science, technology, art, education, and public service.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this month a time of learning, reflection, and celebration. While May may be ending, the impact and contributions of AAPI communities continue all year long.
